ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS

It is requested that everyone use their better judgment and make every effort to keep you, me and our families as safe as possible.
If you are vaccinated great. If you're not, great. If you prefer we wear masks, I'll 100% respect your request to do so. Otherwise, expect to see my smile more often, because it has been a very long time since I've seen yours!
Sanitization has always been taken seriously and all high touch areas are disinfected prior to your service. As well, the practice of ensuring the implements used on you are safe has always been done and will continue. In addition, one new nail file will be used for each client. However, in an effort to not be wasteful by using once, a bag with your nail file will be kept at the studio until it’s time to replace. This will still ensure that the nail file was only used on you. Buffers, woodsticks and the like were always one time use on each client and this will continue.
48hr online cancelation is requested -
You will automatically be charged for your service if you cancel within 48hrs of your appointment time via the online booking system. There is no charge if you cancel with more than 48hrs notice and can cancel online if you are within this timeframe. If you are within 48hrs of your appointment time but not less than 24hours, contact me via phone, email or Instagram to ensure you are not charged.
There is a cancelation fee if you are canceling on day of appointment and you will likely be charged for the manicure service booked excluding any add-on services. Please understand this is because
I am an independent, self-employed nail artist that books by appointment only and you have reserved a large block of time. Emergency exceptions can be made on a case by case basis. If a client assumes your appointment time or you refer someone to fill your place, you will not be charged.
If for any reason you no-show, you will be charged the full amount of your service and any add-ons, no exceptions.
Tardiness -
If you arrive tardy to your appointment, it is understandable and sometimes unavoidable, however, please be mindful that the service will go according to time left. For example, if you book a More Than Basic Manicure appointment and you are 20 mins late, you will still pay for what was booked but may receive a Basic Nail Art service. This will vary by situation and service. Please always communicate with me.
Payment -
A credit card is required to schedule your appointment. Your card will only automatically be charged in the event of a no-show or late cancelation.
Nail Art -
If you are requesting specific nail art, it is always encouraged that you share the inspiration or look before your appointment so we maximize our time together during service. Having an idea on colors also ensures we stay as on time as possible during your appointment. Inspiration can be anything from art, fashion, patterns to coordinate with your occasion, vacation and so much more!
Gel Removal -
If you have gel removal and do not reserve gel removal time, this may cut into your overall appointment.
Your appointment will be charged according to what you reserved even if the gel removal cuts into nail art time. You will have an add-on option for gel removal in the appointment booking process.
Make sure to select and book this service!
If your gel manicure was applied by Notable Nails, the removal is complimentary and the cost is waived at time of checkout.
If you arrive with a gel manicure from another manicurist, there is a $10 fee as it is hard to gauge the timing needed to properly remove without damaging your natural nails as I am not familiar with the products used. As well, my products are being used to remove someone else's work. If you'd like to avoid the fee, please arrive with no gel polish. There may be an added charge if you have dip removal.
It is not recommended that gel manicures stay on your nails longer than 3 weeks no matter if they are still intact. Your outgrowth and nail maintenance is important to keep up on a routine basis.
Do not peel off your gel polish! This could compromise the health of your natural nails by unevenly ripping off layers of your actual nail. Over time, this could cause your nail plate to thin, your nails to crack, and could ultimately affect how polish wears on your nails and potentially cause pain under the LED light when applying gel polish to damaged nails.
